Hi Wandering Jesters Team,
This is my FINAL, really not sending another one, LAST EMAIL before the big weekend (in 2 days)! There's a lot in this one (but important info), so please read it all through. ☺
*Reminder, all actors must be non-union!
TEAM MEETING LOCATION DETAILS:
We are meeting at 6PM on FRIDAY night at the: Holiday Inn Express Cambridge (in the 'breakfast room')
Address: 250 MONSIGNOR O'BRIEN HWY, CAMBRIDGE, MA 02141
T-stop: LECHMERE STOP - GREENLINE
PH: 617.577.7600
PARKING: Parking is free for our team only but is limited. It is available ONLY in the SAV MOR lot across the street from the hotel. If you have access to the T, I recommend taking the Green line to Lechmere instead because of the limited parking. The hotel can give you directions from the T stop if you need them. It's just 3 blocks away. If you have to bring your car, PLEASE make sure to go to the reception desk when you arrive and they will give you a one day free pass to put on your dashboard. Just say you are with Crystal Place’s concepting team.
WHAT TO BRING ON FRIDAY:
We have free wireless Internet AND the breakfast area of the hotel reserved for us to concept in, so please feel free to bring a computer if you have one. Otherwise, if you could bring some pads/pens for yourselves, that would be awesome. If anyone has a printer that is easy to bring (for scripts, shot sheets, etc.), that would be VERY HELPFUL! *(Copy Cop and others are not open when we need them nor are they close by & we wished we had one last year ;))
CALLTIME ON SATURDAY: 6:30AM (I know its early :)), *PLACE IS TBD FRI. NIGHT!
Most very likely the first location will be an outside locale (think Fenz area) or one of our team member’s apartments/houses. I WILL SEND THE TEAM AN EMAIL LATE ON FRI. NIGHT WITH THE PLACE THAT IS CHOSEN, (once we know what makes sense for the story)!
*If you need to call me that morning, please feel free.

FEW OTHER DETAILS:
The SCREENING of our film will be at the Kendall Squ. Cinema. We are in Group D, which translates to Wed. May 6th @ 9:30p, (it often sells out so we are reco to get there about 9-ish). The team will usually all meet for din/drinks beforehand somewhere nearby (last year was the Brewery across the St). We will prob. meet about 7:30p. If you have trouble finding the team, feel free to call my cell. You can also check out the website at: http://48hourfilm.com/boston/ to see the full screening schedule and the address of the theater, if you need it. Hope to see you all there!
Also, I wanted to give you all the heads up in advance about something I will mention again on Friday: While we managed to finagle a great deal of stuff to be donated to our team/production, we have spent a pretty large amount out of our own 2nd hand wallets (i.e. insurance for gear, registration fee, location for 24hr. edit suite, printing donation fliers, etc). That said, we know everyone's on a budget and times are tight. If everyone can donate even $20 or so to the team, to help make up some of the expenses, we would be SO grateful. We also understand that some people simply CAN’T do so and for those people, we are still more than happy to have you on our team (so no worries). So it goes. Phew, I said it. Thank you kindly. :)
Lastly, if anyone has ANYTHING (random props, clothing, any other random item/idea) that they think might be helpful or interesting, please do bring it (or bring the thought of it to our Fri. meeting). NO idea is a bad one and I can tell you that we are a fab team of creative peop, so just might use your random Morrissey cut-out! ;) Thanks guys. I can't wait for our brains to merge to make something cooler than brain spaghetti.
CONTACT INFO: in case you don't have it already
I can be reached anytime and throughout the weekend on my cellphone. That said, my phone will most likely be off while shooting on Sat., so if you need to reach someone on set on Saturday, please call our editor TODD who will have a contact sheet with everyone else's number (I have emailed his P# only. if you need it, please just let me know)!
PLEASE let me know you got this email! It’s my last one before we begin our trouble-causing. Thanks.
We are gonna make a kick-ass film. I'm excited. :)
& you guys rock,
C
